30 years have passed since the release of the film ‘Gorillas in the Mist’, which features the adventurous life of the naturalist Dian Fossey, in Rwanda, dedicated to the study of mountain gorillas, and their defense against poaching attacks. For  her commitment to the safeguard of gorillas she was killed, but the Karisoke Research Center, which she founded, still continues her mission.

Who of you does not know the famous Agatha Christie novel, Assassination on the Orient Express, which has also inspired films of great international success? Originally designed to transport travelers from Paris to Constantinople, in a lavish environment with 5-star hotel services, it was considered the no plus ultra of the luxury travels of the time. The first train left the Gare de l'Est in 1883 and is still in service today, thanks to Belmond Management Limited, which has managed to preserve the magic of that era on board.

Japan has become a popular destination for travelers. Personally I get many requests for spots, easily reachable from Tokyo, that offer beautiful views of Mount Fuji, immortalized in famous prints by the painter and engraver Hokusai. An itinerary that I propose passes through Lake Kawaguchi, one of the five lakes at the foot of Mount Fuji.
