Chinese cuisine like the Italian one is famous all over the world. “Spaghetti” (typical Italian food) originally came from China; Chinese version, internationally known as noodles, are appreciated all over the world by the most gluttonous palates. They are made with wheat or rice, they can be prepared in many ways, what matters is their deliciousness.
On my last trip to China I had the chance to experience really special culinary experiences. In the ancient heart of a hutong, a traditional grid pattern of alleyways, I took part in a cooking class just to learn how to make noodles. Red lanterns lit outside the cooking school create an atmosphere with a fascinating past. Inside, a trained and very helpful staff is available to teach the art of how preparing this Chinese cuisine ace.
And eventually you can taste all the noodles you have prepared. My noodles not bad for being the first time!
