2021 has started with the hope that vaccines will finally make resume leisure travel, giving us protection against the spread of Covid. Meanwhile, current regulations allow travel for business purposes, and many professionals or employees of companies, bodies and organizations can carry out their activities in home working mode.
Putting these two conditions together, I am pleased to point out situations in which the aspect of work can be combined with the serenity of being able to carry out one's work in a place surrounded by beauty and with all the comforts of a luxury resort. The Andana Tenuta la Badiola is immersed in the Tuscan Maremma, appreciated for the beauty of its landscapes of hills, vineyards and Mediterranean scrub, just 7 km from the ancient village of Castiglione della Pescaia, on the Tyrrhenian coast. The Estate consists of two buildings: the Villa and “la casa” (the house).
While the Villa is waiting for Easter to reopen its gates to visitors, “La casa” is already available for those who want, even with their family, to move the office to one of the 14 suites, each equipped with a small kitchen where even the food shopping will be served. “La casa” has an evocative name in itself that smacks of intimacy, a value that has inspired the building renovation project from the outset, carried out by the architect Ettore Mocchetti, director of AD Italy.
